Dr. Tonya Westerbeke, D.C., C.C.S.M.S., C.K.P.T.

Tonya Westerbeke graduated from Palmer college of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Upon graduation Dr. Tonya accepted a position in Grand Rapids, MI, where she practiced for almost two years before opening Back To Health Chiropractic. Dr. Tonya is a member of the Michigan Association of Chiropractors and the American Chiropractic Association. She regularly attends seminars to keep up to date on the latest information and technology pertaining to Chiropractic and the healthcare profession. She also is pursuing a diplomate in pediatrics. Dr. Tonya and her husband Mark are excited to be a part of the Zeeland community and value its focus on family. You will likely see Dr. Tonya, Mark, Ella, Mia, and Asa at one of Zeeland's various sporting events. As Dr. Tonya has obtained her certificate in sports medicine, she is the official Chiropractor of Zeeland East and West high schools.

Dr. Melissa A. Vandermissen, D.C., C.C.S.P.

Dr. Melissa Vandermissen graduated Cum Laude with a doctorate in chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. After working in Grand Rapids, MI, she joined Back to Health Chiropractic. Dr. Melissa is originally from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, but relocated following graduation. She is a member of the International Chiropractic Association. Dr. Melissa has completed over 120 hours of training with the Gonstead Seminar for chiropractic training. She is also a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. She has a love for traveling the world, and has spent time in the Fijian Islands where she was able to provide chiropractic for residents who can not afford Healthcare. Dr. Melissa also enjoys camping, running, and reading. She is excited to be at Back to Health, providing great chiropractic care to the Zeeland and Holland communities.

Dr. Steven Paling, D.C., M.Ed

Steven Paling graduated from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. Dr. Steve is a native of Michigan, originally from the Metro Detroit area. Dr. Steve has an extensive background in athletics and strength and conditioning. Prior to pursuing his Doctorate of Chiropractic, he spent 6 years coaching football at the high school and collegiate levels. Dr. Steve completed his undergraduate studies at Saginaw Valley State University with teaching degree in Physical Health Education and a Masters of Education in Athletic Administration. Dr. Steve has been married for 3 years, has a 2 year old daughter and is expecting another in March. Dr. Steve is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and is working on his certification as strength and conditioning specialist. Dr. Steve, His wife Becky and daughter Emersyn are excited to be a part of the Zeeland community.

Mark Westerbeke, Business Director

Due to the rapid growth of Back To Health Chiropractic, Mark, Dr. Tonya's husband joined the practice full time in the summer of 2008.  Dr. Tonya is thrilled to have Mark relieve some of the responsibilities of running the business allowing her to focus 100% of her energy on chiropractic care.

Lisa Robinson, Financial Coordinator, CCA

Lisa is our Financial Coordinator at Back To Health. She will be able to assist you with your insurance related questions. She enjoys camping, cooking, and traveling. While staying busy at work she is also busy at home with her 3 children Danielle, Briana and Tanden.

Betsy Prince, Certified Chiropractic Assistant

Betsy is originally from Zeeland and is one of six children. She is extremely excited to have the opportunity to join Back To Health to help our community to gain and attain health and wellness.

Stacey Binkley, CMT

Stacey Binkley, a Certified Massage Therapist, received her training at Lakeside Academy of Therapeutic Massage in Zeeland, MI and graduated in October 2007. Stacey has a passion for health and building relationships with her patients, which includes providing deep tissue, skin rolling, reflexology, pre-natal and trigger point therapy massages.

Stephanie Ehlert, CMT

Stephanie received her training from Everest Institute of Grand Rapids in April of 2009. She concentrates on deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy and also knows reflexology. Stephanie looks forward to helping her patients with their individual needs.

Steph DeHann, CMT

Steph received her training through Everest Institute of Grand Rapids and graduated in January of 2010. She wants to share her passion of natural healing through massage care through Swedish massage, MFR, deep tissue, skin rolling, and trigger-point therapy. She looks forward to building relationships and addressing individual needs of the patient.

Danielle Cobb, CMT

Danielle received her training through IntelliTec College in Grand Junction, Colorado and graduated in July 2011. She truly loves helping people through massage and focuses on Deep Tissue, Swedish, and Therapeutic Massage. Danielle looks forward to setting up successful treatment plans for all her individual clients.

Brittany Gebben, Practice Representative

Brittany graduated from Hope College with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Spanish. She markets the practice through public and client relations, including active involvement with many local organizations. Brittany is also an elected ambassador for the Zeeland Chamber of Commerce.
